Nigerian artiste Ice Prince Zamani’s music
video of his single Boss is finally out. The video shot in Kenya during
Zamani’s recording at Coke Studio Africa becomes the first African music
video to premiere on Jay Z’s Tidal platform.
Directed by Moe Omusa, it features Kenya’s super star dance group, Sarakasi Dancers.
“Boss is a song for everybody – be the boss of yourself. Be the boss of everything you do. Make boss strides. Time for Africans to rise,” Ice Prince said.
Ice Prince is not the only Nigerian whose music features on Tidal.
Nigerian rapper Naeto C became the first Nigerian artiste to release an album on international rap Mogul, Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter’s music streaming service Tidal. Naeto C became the first Nigerian act to debut an album on Tidal with his Day 1 project.
